Volunteer With Linlithgow Link
We are always on the lookout for volunteers. People choose to become a volunteer for many reasons.
Volunteering can have significant benefits to both the individual and the community. For some it’s a chance to give something back to the community, making a difference to the people around them.
It can also provide the opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing skills and experiences. Volunteers enjoy being involved in a variety of activities and whilst giving their time freely are not expected to be out of pocket in any way.
Volunteering is rewarding and if you feel you can commit to helping in any of the services provided, please ring the office on 01506-845137 and speak to one of the Co-ordinators, or complete our enquiry form.
Volunteer Testimonial
I have been a Link volunteer for over 20 years. Initially I started as a driver taking people to appointments – hospital, doctor, hairdresser etc.
I really enjoyed doing this as the clients were so appreciative that gave me a feeling of being useful.
I also got involved with the Tuesday group which enables people to leave their homes and meet up socially one afternoon a week.
Helping people I find very worthwhile and certainly gives me a feeling of self worth and well-being.
